《异形：隔离》的故事发生在《异形》事件后的第十五年，艾伦·雷普利的女儿阿曼达卷入了一场为生存而发生的绝望战斗，她身负着揭开自己母亲消失 真相的任务。

作为阿曼达，你需要穿过一个越来越不稳定的世界，并且还要面对来自致命的、无法预知的异形的各方势力。你并没有足够的能力和准备来与之对抗，你需要资源才能存活，开动脑筋及时找到问题的解决方法，你不仅需要完成你的任务，还要生存下去。
